Now Hiring: Front Desk + Office Admin


We are now hiring someone to run the Front Desk at Camp Super Duper over the summer!


This is a full time position that runs while camp is in session and in the month leading up to camp, from May 15th - August 18th. There is the possibility of carrying on part time during the off season.

As Front Desk + Office Admin you will report to the Operations Director and be responsible for running the Front Desk and providing additional Admin Support.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining the Camp Office and keeping a clean and inviting Front Desk space.

  • Greeting Parents in a friendly, warm and welcoming manner and answering questions they may have.

  • Answering phones and responding to e-mails and voice mails.

  • Becoming fluent in use of our CampMinder database.

  • Assisting Parents with Billing issues.

  • Assisting Parents with Enrollment issues.

  • Providing light First Aid support to Staff and Campers (Handing out Ice Packs, Band-Aids, etc.)

  • Filing and maintain an organized system for files

  • Providing HR and Onboarding support to staff

  • Placing orders for supplies

  • Properly documenting purchases

  • Reaching out to vendors - ordering busses, buying tickets for field trips, ordering inflatable slides, etc.



You must be...

  • Extremely organized. You are great at picking up and working within existing systems and creating new ones to help streamline -

  • Camp Super Duper operations.

  • Someone with prior experience working in, and running, an office.

  • Warm, welcoming and professional with great customer service chops.

  • Comfortable talking on the phone.

  • Able to write concise, friendly and professional e-mails.

  • Tech-savvy and a wizard in the world of Microsoft Excel.

  • Someone proficient in the use of Google Drive, Dropbox and Gmail.

  • Willing to learn new systems such as CampMinder (our camper database) and Gusto (our payroll system)

  • Self motivated and driven. Able to see what needs to get done, and do it, without constant hand holding!

  • Ready and willing to adapt! The Camp Office is a bustling space, as it really serves as the hub of operations when camp is in session. You have to be able to go with the flow and deal with issues as they arise.

  • Able to sit behind a desk for extended periods of time.

  • Someone who likes kids! While you will mostly be interacting with parents and staff, we're a summer camp, so an enjoyment of working with children is required!
