"This was the first year my 9-year-old attended this camp, and she loved it! Theme days, weekly swim, and field trips with an enthusiastic staff kept her happily busy for two weeks, and on the last Friday, she proudly gave me a tour of the rooms and explained the projects in which she'd taken part. Creativity is clearly at play here, and I highly recommend it."

Our JCIT's and CIT's (7th - 12th graders) take their own special trip to places like Hurricane Harbor, Sky High Sports, Family Fun Center, etc. once every two-week session during the Summer.
Campers 3rd - 7th grade go on a different field trip once during each two-week session during the Summer. These trips can be nature/outdoor based (hiking, beach, nature education, etc), or more indoor based like ice skating, indoor rock climbing, etc.
We do NOT go to places like Disneyland, Magic Mountain, etc.
Campers 2nd grade and under stay on campus to enjoy a full slate of Sup Dup classes, games and activities.
All field trip costs are included in tuition.
For each field trip, we charter an SPAB certified bus with an SPAB certified driver from a reputable, reliable, licensed and insured bussing company. The bus takes us to our destination, then waits for us to return. Campers are joined on the bus by their counselor and the field trip supervisor
Campers are chaperoned and supervised closely on all field trips by their regular counselors PLUS the field trip coordinator PLUS additional staff to increase the staff to camper ratio. Be assured that close supervision and safety are at the forefront of our objectives on all field trips at all times.
Campers must bring a packed lunch and snack from home. If your camper is in 3rd-8th grade, please do not sign up for lunch delivery on Thursdays, as we depart from our destination before lunches are delivered
Field Trip departure is at 9:15am sharp (don’t miss the bus!) and we return in time for 3:30pm pick up.
What if My Child Does Not Want to Go?
If your camper does not wish to attend a particular field trip or if you are not comfortable with a particular destination, your camper may choose to stay at camp and participate in activities with our 2nd grade campers.
