Now Hiring: Camp Assistant


We are now hiring an Camp Assistant to help keep things running smoothly at Camp Super Duper over the summer!

Job Description:

This is a seasonal position that runs from June 12th - August 11th and potentially a couple of weekend dates before and after. It is the perfect job for someone currently in school looking for a summer position. 

As Camp Assistant you will report to the Operations Director and Programming Director and be responsible for supporting the daily logistical needs of the camp, along with heading up some ongoing projects over the summer.



Duties include:


  • Performing Opening & Closing Duties

  • Warmly greeting Parents and Campers in the morning.

  • Maintaining and setting up tech: Projector, Sound Equipment, Microphones, Music.

  • Providing support to the Programing Director as needed: Preparing class materials, setting up classes, distributing supplies to different groups.

  • Providing Group Leader Support: Delivering rosters, T-Shirts and information from the office as needed.

  • Doing shopping runs and driving to pick up supplies.

  • Distributing Hot Lunches to campers.

  • Maintaining an organized and clean storage room.

  • Maybe: Support with photography and videography of camp activities. Posting on social media.

  • Other tasks as needed.

  • Warm and welcoming. Able to interact with Parents and Campers alike!

  • Self motivated and driven. Able to see what needs to get done, and do it, without constant hand holding!

  • Excited about working around kids. The majority of our campers are between ages 5 and 11!

  • Willing to learn. You make up for your lack of experience with a willingness to adapt and learn, from leadership team, the campers and the other members of our staff.

  • Willing to take on projects big and small from helping curator a Camp Super Duper experience to cleaning up after lunch.
