This past summer Teacher Kelsey helped us make these DELICIOUS Cowboy Cookies in a Jar that we took home to bake. They were as fun to make as they were to eat! Here's how we did it...

Dry Ingredients for the Jar:

• 1 1/4 cups flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 cup sugar

• 3/4 cup brown sugar

• 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

• 1 1/2 cups rolled oats

• 1/2 cup dried cranberries

• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

• *optional* 1 Quart Mason Jar for packaging dry ingredients as gift

Wet Ingredients for Baking:

• 3/4 cup butter (or margarine for Vegan version), softened

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 1/4 cup milk of your choice (nut milks will work!)

Directions for Dry Ingredients: 

Use a large, seal-able jar ( I use a 1 quart mason jar) in which to layer the dry ingredients.

Mix the flour, baking soda and salt together to make the first layer. Use a spoon or tap the jar on the counter gently to flatten this layer.

Earlier this summer campers wrote and recorded their own original songs so the only next logical step was to bust out the green screen and make some MUSIC VIDEOS!!

Check out this music video from The Twisters for their song 'Tommy', directed and performed by the campers themselves over the course of two 45 minute classes!

We are very proud to present Sup Dup Radio Volume 2, featuring a selection of FUNKY songs written and recorded by our campers during Session 3 at the end of July!

Let the games begin (on Friday)

This Fun Friday we have our exciting annual SupDup Games! They will challenge our competitive spirit, sportsmanship, creative thinking and teamwork.

All this week we have had activities that encouraged growth in all areas of development concerning these games.

The week started off with a color picking ceremony and you can see the video of it right here!

Tomorrow it begins, the challenge, the race, the fun! 

 For Session 1 campers spent two classes putting together videos where they acted as producers, writers, actors and editors.  Check out this video from some of the campers in the Flying Monkeys!

Session 2's Podcast class - lead by teacher Jennifer and Peter - culminated in the very first volume of Sup Dup Radio: A tapestry of audio pieces crafted by our older bracket of campers, including The Wizards, Flying Monkeys, Scarecrows, Group X and YTBP groups!

Campers recorded their own news reports, interviews, current event pieces and even radio dramas!
